To join a Competent Person's Scheme with either the NICEIC, NAPIT, Elecsa etc and to be able to self-certify your own work you'll need to demonstrate that you have sufficient knowledge and experience to complete domestic electrical work safely and in compliance with any applicable building and electrical wiring regulations.

Additional Information

Experience: Installers with very little or no experience wishing to join a competent persons scheme may be required to complete a more formal - apprentice type course and qualification such as the C&G 2365 up to at least level two. Please feel free to contact us for guidance.

Age Requirements: Learners must be at least 18 years old.
